Rajesh Kumar Soni is a 1983 batch Civil Engineer from Jabalpur Engineering College. Then he served Tarapore & Co. at Bargi Multipurpose Dam Project from 01/10/1983 to 06/04/1986 as Junior Engineer. Then joined the Customs & Central Excise department (Now GST) on 07/04/1986 as Inspector and retired on 31/12/2021 as Superintendent. During their tenure, he was fortunate enough to get the reward of more than 6 Lacs Rupees besides recovering Crores of Rupees from the assesses of Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax and GST. He is also instrumental in arresting 3 individuals for committing GST fraud amounting to more than 1100 Crores of Rupees, from Mumbai and Ahmedabad. He established Sony Consultancy which is the pioneer in Consultancy services.
